One of the most interesting aspects for all Pokémon players is the IVs, or in other words, the “genetic” component of pocket monsters.
In virtually every Pokémon game, IVs have been treated, and calculated, in the same way – something that hasn’t changed in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Eevee! Now, in Pokémon GO, IVs were calculated differently, so many of us, since we knew that Pokémon could be transferred from our mobile phone to the Switch title, wondered how those parameters would be calculated.
Today, several determiners have found out how Game Freak converts IVs when a Pokémon is transferred from Pokémon GO to Pokémon: Let´s Go. The explanation is as follows:
- To determine the PS of a Pokémon in Pokémon Let’s Go, the Health stat in Pokémon GO is multiplied by 2 and 1 is added.
- To calculate the Attack and the Special Attack , we have to multiply by 2 and add 1 to the Pokémon GO Attack statistic .
- To calculate Defense and Special Defense , we have to multiply by 2 and add 1 to the Pokémon Defense statistic GO.
- The speed is generated randomly.
