In fact, the firm itself mentions that the Kona is the broadest B-SUV in the segment because the position of the rear suspension does not compromise the space in the rear seats and the central tunnel, even in the models equipped with all-wheel drive, is very low
There are three options of gasoline engine and other diesel options
According to markets, the Hyundai Kona can be ordered with three engine options. The most basic of all is the 2.0-liter Atkinson cycle, 149 hp, and 132 lb-ft – inherited from the Elantra – able to go from 0 to 100 km / h in 10 seconds and reach a top speed of 194 km / h. It goes with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Associated with a 7-speed automatic double clutch transmission it can go from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.7 seconds. If this configuration sounds familiar to you, it is because it is available in the KIA Soul, although with slightly less power.
Naturally, for Europe, there will be options with a diesel engine, but Hyundai has not specified them yet. It only mentions that 1.6-liter engines will be powered by this type of fuel, but it does not detail performance or consumption.
